Holy crow these cookies might be the best cookies I’ve ever made. Who knew all you had to do was add a little salty-sweet. Pretzels in cookies? Game changer.
I love the idea of putting random things from your cupboard in a recipe. Awhile back I made a batch of “Everything But the Kitchen Sink Cookies” and these are pretty darn similar in technique. Start with a basic cookie recipe and then go to town! Plus, they’re one bowl magic! Give them a try and let me know what you think.
2 sticks of butter
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
3 c flour (option: substitute 1/2 c coconut for 1/2 c flour)
1 c crushed pretzels
1 c white chocolate chips
In a stand mixer, cream butter until smooth and add sugar. Then add eggs and vanilla. Blend until combined, before adding your dry ingredients. Once your dough has formed, mix in pretzels and white chocolate chips on a slow speed. Use a spoon to form 1 inch size balls and bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Allow your cookies to cool or serve hot out of the oven!
