Gift Guide for Her
I have to admit, this gift guide could be considered “basic.” However, it’s my experience that the items on this list will be frequently used and appreciated by whatever woman in your life you may be shopping for. That being said, let’s jump into the first gift guide of the season I’m sharing on this blog!
BLANKET// Warm, cozy, knit blankets are perfect for the colder weather. Sticking to neutrals is often a safe bet, but I can guarantee that no matter what blanket you purchase, this gift will be appreciated on a freezing night in January.
HAIR ACCESSORIES// Simple yet pretty, hair accessories are an easy, fun gift. There are tons of options: bows, headbands, elastics, or clips and they’re easily altered depending on who you’re shopping for.
JEWELRY// Jewelry is kind of one of those ‘can’t of wrong’ gifts. Necklaces, especially dainty chains or bars are incredibly popular right now and easily customizable.
PERFUME// Perfume can get a little tricky, depending on who you’re shopping for and what scents might be their preference. However, because perfume can often be a little expensive, especially if it’s a nicer kind, it makes a very thoughtful present.
CANDLES// I love giving candles as gifts. They’re an item that you simply want around the house in the winter. The prettier the packaging, the better. For reference, Anthropology has a great selection.
MAKEUP// Similar to perfume, makeup can be a little tricky to purchase. However, you can get away with purchasing basics if you stick to well known brands. BareMinerals, MAC, or any Sephora bra are often safe bets.
HEADPHONES// Unless you’re shopping for someone who doesn’t like music, a pair of good quality, noise reducing headphones is a wonderful present to give. There are so many stylish pairs out there, and most of the time they can fit any budget.
JOURNAL// I’m a big believer in writing things down, keeping lists, and making notes, so I am constantly reaching for a new journal. That being said, they’re simple, thoughtful gifts that can be easily customized by whoever is receiving them. In a strange way, they’re pretty personal, even when they’re empty.
BAGS// I for one always appreciate a new bag. Little pouches and clutches are great for organization and traveling while larger items like duffles or totes can be used frequently.
SCARF// Scarves are a versatile, safe clothing item that can easily be gifted. They’re incredibly useful and amazingly, it really feels like you can never have enough.
SPEAKER// Similar to the headphones, any music lover will appreciate a new speaker. Bluetooth is great now, so you can easily play music anywhere. Just make sure to check that their phone is compatible (which it usually is) ahead of time!
FACE MASKS// I’m a huge fan of face masks, not only because they’re fun, but because they really do make your skin feel and look great. Origins is a brand I’ve been hearing so much about. However, look for a generic mask, for any skin type, so that whoever you’re shopping for might feel the benefits!
WATER BOTTLE// I love the rubber/glass bottle featured above- I think it’s really chic looking. However, Hydroflasks are also fabulous, especially if you’re outdoors or in the heat frequently. In the end, a water bottle is something everyone can use. It’s an accessory where, it’s necessary, but it’s also fun to have a nice one.
