GAP White Shirt Dress (similar),  Top Shop Sandals, Vintage Camera Bag (similar)

The other day my family and I visited Kinney Azalea Gardens in South Kingstown, Rhode Island. Wicked Tulips closed before I got a chance to go, and I was totally bummed. Luckily, a friend mentioned this garden to me. I am definitely one of those people who chases flowers all spring long. So, The Kinney Azalea Gardens are quite literally someone’s backyard, but the trails stretch on farther than I imagined and the bushes were full of bright, blooming Azaleas. It was amazing to smell all the flowers while walking through. While it wasn’t too crowded when we visited, I can image the gardens get much more traffic on the weekend. The location is quiet and secluded, and you definitely forget where you are for a bit.

I was so glad we got a beautiful day to visit; there were temperatures in the 80s! I chose to wear this light, linen shirt dress I picked up at GAP at the end of the season last year. I have incredibly sensitive skin, so light, natural fabrics are perfect when the weather gets warm.

Even though I’m not tan yet, I still love wearing white in the spring time, and this shirt dresses has such a timeless, versatile silhouette. I do, however, think that cuffing the sleeves made it more casual and wearable. I’m also that girl who always grabs a cross body bag when going out. It’s super easy to throw one on without a second thought. This little brown bag is actually a vintage camera bag I stole from my mom.

So, if you’re in the area, I would definitely recommend checking out Kinney Gardens. It’s the perfect place for a morning walk, to take some photos and explore. As summer progresses, I’m definitely going to be looking for more areas to visit. If you’ve got any suggestions, leave them in the comments below.
