Cutting Down the Tree
Merry Christmas Eve! I can’t believe how quickly the 24th of December came around- I feel as if I blinked and missed the entire month. A few days ago my sister and I drove up to New York with our dad to stay with my grandparents for Christmas. It’s so quiet and relaxing, and there’s even snow on the ground! Yesterday when we went to cut down our tree, everything felt so festive. Going out into a Christmas tree farm and picking out the perfect one is always an adventure. I even helped cut it down this year! It’s a grand tree and we’ll be spending a good portion of today decorating it.
After publishing this post, I’ll be taking a little break from this blog and social media, at least until the New Year. I figure a little time for myself, my family and friends is needed to close out 2016. I wanted to wish everyone reading a very Merry Christmas (or a very joyous holiday- no matter what you celebrate) and a very happy New Year. Also, thank you for any support you’ve given my blog this past year. I have a lot of plans for the new year and some exciting things in the works. I can’t wait for you to see them.
