If you’ve ever been to Rhode Island, you know that we take our seafood very seriously. Clam bakes are thrown in backyards as soon as the weather gets warm, celebrating big events or just your average weekend. Around here it’s easy to drive down to your local fish market and pick up a bag of mussels and a bucket of lobsters. Then you can take them home and steam them, shell them and dunk them in butter, creating a proper New England feast. It’s so much fun getting together with friends and family over a table full of good food, a tradition I definitely want to keep going for many summers to come.
