Closet Staple: Camel Coat

| Camel Coat: H&M (Similar here) | Sweater: Mango | Jeans: Old Navy | Boots: H&M | Welcome to the coldest part of the year- or not. Today I’m sharing one of my favorite winter styles, a chic and stylish camel coat, but outside it feels like spring. Hello Winter, are you there? It’s me Caitlin.  What even is the weather in the north-east right now? It’s been very rainy and terribly windy, but in the forties and fifties for weeks! I think back to my freshman year of college when our spring semester was disrupted so frequently by the weather and…

Rainy Walks

My dad and I took a rainy walk downtown the other night to do some last minute Christmas shopping, to grab a coffee, and to check out the decorations. The lights down by the harbor are always so beautiful and it’s nice to see the cobblestone streets and sidewalks fairly empty for a change. I love living in an area where you can walk or bike places. Emily is normally behind the camera on these posts, but for once, I bribed her to be in the photos. I think that it helped that I got us these…

Cold Weather Denim

Turtleneck: Mango | Overalls: American Eagle (similar styles here and here) | Oxfords: Forever 21 (similar styles here and here)  The leaves are gold and burnt orange, there’s a chill in the air, and I think New England has finally transitioned into my favorite season of all. There’s nothing like relaxing on a fall day, sitting outside while squirrels run from tree to tree and leaves fall. I almost didn’t believe we’d make it to this point, seeing as last week the temperature was recorded 15 to 20 degrees higher than the normal average, but we have and I for one am breathing a sigh of relief- and pulling out my…
