Somedays you just need to listen to a throwback playlist. A playlist you know subconsciously; the lyrics engrained in your memory. For me, a playlist like this includes songs from a 2000s movie soundtrack. These songs are found in a memory of a middle school dance. These songs are played over the speaker at the grocery store. A playlist like this actually makes you feel something. In other words, somedays, you just need to listen to music that makes you smile.
All things considered, I compiled this playlist and coined it ‘If Life Had a Soundtrack.’ This musical sequence contains songs that have played through the moments of my life. Strangely enough, I seem to find myself at that age where a song really does bring you back. Maybe some of these will do the same for you. And if you feel the urge to dance or sing it out, don’t hold back.
