Sophomore year has come to an end, and amidst the tests and assignments filling up my planner, there are activities actually worth doing. Between award banquets, ultimate frisbee tournaments, and a few final outings of the year, I feel like I haven’t had a moment to stop and breathe. Going home for the summer is bittersweet. I really want to be home, to hangout with my family and relax for a little while. But I know I’ll miss my friends at school, the ability to walk out my bedroom door and have a whole group of people to talk to, to laugh with. When that’s what you’re used to, everything else feels lonely awful quick. So, my plan is to enjoy it while I can and start counting down ’til next year- I’m sure it’ll be a good one.
